I'm sick
of white undies. All I've been sewing for the past month is white, white, white! And even though I've more white that needs to be sewn (Victorian corset, Mantua Maker stays) I need to take a break and work with some color!
All my costuming projects are in stasis, waiting for the white undies, and I'm sick of walking around town looking like a slob, so modern it is!
I'm going to make another Modern Regency. This time the gathered front style.
Here's the fabric I'm planning on using.
Just a simple quilters cotton in a intertwined heart scroll design. I'm feelin' the V day spirit. I'd like to get it done before then. (which means I should be working on the mock up, but here I sit)
And speaking of fabric, I picked this up a while ago.
Got it at Wally World for $1.00/yd. Surprisingly, its cotton (based on a burn test, looks like 100%) I've no idea what to do w/it, but I've got over 5yds.
Well, that about covers it. Now I'm off to watch Lost.
