Drafting a Corset

I actually managed to draft my own Victorian corset pattern! The instructions from Your Wardrobe Unlock'd were so easy to follow. Now I just need to trace it out and add seam allowances. I drafted in a 3" waist reduction. Not much, but I think that is about al I can handel. I just hope it goes together easily and fits well.

Using the gridded interfacing under the paper worked really well! I was able to make sure all my lines were straight, a first for me. Even with a ruler, I can't manage to draw a straight line to save my life.
Today, we plan on heading out to the woods for a little walk in the redwoods and a picnic lunch. Then it's to the grocery store to stock up on lunch stuff for E to take to camp. She'll be there all day, so I want to be sure she has plenty of food to keep her going!
