Well, I have been sewing, just not on the Archery dress. I have finally finished hemming the sleeves and hem of my Venetian camicia. I have also been working on the cord stiffened petticoat/farthingale to go under it. It's pretty much done. All I have to do is finish up the waistband and stitch down the ends of the cord.

The fabric is not exactly period. My friend gave it to me. I think she was going to make some curtains with it.

Front. Notice the lovely grapes. I think it is kinda whimsical.

Back. It's pinned to the form over my current draping project, w/o my stays, so it doesn't fasten all the way.
I'm not looking for the full look of a spanish farthingale. I just want something to keep the skirt from tangling around my legs.
